About the Journal

Research Frontiers: Agrochemicals Research and Development is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research, reviews, and selected high-impact reprints on all aspects of chemicals used in agriculture and the agro-food chain. The journal encourages detailed experimental and theoretical work, with no restrictions on manuscript length, and full methods and data should be provided to ensure reproducibility. The journal covers the use of agrochemicals across the entire “farm-to-fork” continuum, including crop cultivation, orchards, post-harvest handling, and food processing. This includes fertilizers, soil amendments, plant protection products, and growth regulators, as well as studies on their safe and sustainable application.

Published tri-annually, the journal is available in both print and electronic formats, ensuring wide accessibility to the research community.

Scope:

The journal welcomes high-quality research covering all aspects of agrochemicals and their applications throughout the agricultural and food production chain. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Pesticides, including insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, and nematicides
  • Fertilizers, soil amendments, and growth regulators
  • Liming and acidifying agents for soil management
  • Development, synthesis, and application of new agrochemical compounds
  • Integrated pest, disease, and weed management strategies
  • Studies on resistance mechanisms and modes of action
  • Toxicology, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance
  • Environmental fate, metabolism, degradation, and safety of agrochemicals
  • Best practices for sustainable and effective agrochemical use
  • Socioeconomic, ecological, and environmental impacts
  • Ecotoxicology and interactions between agrochemicals and ecosystems
  • Phytochemicals, bio stimulants, and crop protection innovations
  • Policy, legislation, and regulatory frameworks for agrochemicals
