About the Journal

Research Reports: Aerospace Engineering Research and Innovation is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality original research, comprehensive reviews, and selected high-impact reprints in the fields of aerospace engineering, with a focus on practical engineering applications and design methodologies for aircraft and space vehicles. The journal provides a platform for research that advances both theoretical knowledge and applied innovations in aerospace systems.

Published tri-annually, the journal is available in both print and electronic formats, ensuring wide accessibility to the research community.

Scope:

The journal welcomes high-quality submissions in all aspects of aerospace engineering. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Mechanics of materials and structures: structural analysis, composite materials, fatigue, and failure mechanisms.
  • Aerodynamics and fluid mechanics: computational and experimental studies, flow control, turbulence modelling, and high-speed aerodynamics.
  • Dynamics and control: flight dynamics, control theory, guidance, navigation, and autonomous systems.
  • Aeroacoustics: noise generation, propagation, and mitigation in aircraft and spacecraft environments.
  • Aeroelasticity: interaction of aerodynamic, elastic, and inertial forces in flight structures.
  • Propulsion and combustion: engines, turbomachinery, combustion processes, and energy efficiency.
  • Avionics and aerospace systems: instrumentation, sensors, embedded systems, and aerospace electronics.
  • Flight simulation and mechanics: modelling, simulation, and experimental validation of aircraft and spacecraft dynamics.
  • Unmanned air vehicles (UAVs): design, control, navigation, and emerging applications.
